Cage Dive With Nile Crocodiles
Nile crocodiles are the second largest reptile in the world, ranging between 9-16 feet in length and weighing up to 1,500 lbs. Croc Cage Diving gives you the chance to get up close and personal with three of these giant reptiles. Lucky, Bongo, and Prado were born in captivity at a crocodile farm. They were neglected and abandoned by new farm owners, and were rescued and given a second chance by Croc Cage Diving.
Where: Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Age: Divers 8 and older can get in the cage.
Tour Info: The cage is operated by an over-head monorail. It will suspend above the crocs before being slowly lowered into the water. You’ll spend 25-30 minutes in the water with your crocodile handler and Lucky, Bongo, and Prado. Your crocodile handler will feed the crocodiles to encourage them to approach the cage and provide you with a face to face encounter with these giant reptiles (and witness the power of their jaws). You’ll be able to watch, touch, and experience the crocodiles in their own environment. During your cage dive, you’ll also learn all about the crocodile’s vital role in the wild!
US$70 per person, per dive (maximum of 4 people in a cage). Bring your own underwater camera or purchase images from your cage dive from their on-site photographer. No swimming experience necessary.
